Allowing External users to have control in teams sharing

 By default Externals users can not take control in a meeting.  It is useful so they can use their mouse to show things.

How to enable.


Connect-MicrosoftTeams -Credential $credential
Set-CsTeamsMeetingPolicy -AllowExternalParticipantGiveRequestControl $true
get-CsTeamsMeetingPolicy

Saving WAV files for PABX/TPG Bizphone

Saving WAV files for PABX systems

Users send audio file from phones and pcs in all different formats

Using Audacity  you can transcode to a basic WAV file for PABX  and TPG Bizphone


  1.     Download Audacity here
  2.     open the sound file in audcity
  3.     Trim out silence at the ends and adjust the volume  (Effect  >Amplify)
  4.     If stereo, click above Mute/Solo and choose Tracks > Stereo Track to Mono.
  5.     Set Project Rate (bottom left) to 8000 Hz.
  6.     Go to File > Export Audio…
  7.     Choose WAV
  8.     Choose WAV (Microsoft) header.
  9.     Choose “U-Law” Encoding (this sets 8-bit, and 8 kHz).
  10.     Edit the file name and be sure it ends in “.wav”.
  11.     Click Save.
  12.     Use this Website  https://g711.org/  to convert the file

   

Then load in PABX or TPG BizPhone

Uninstall 

To print from 32-bit apps enabling Direct Printing for your printer using the following procedure:

Open an elevated command prompt and run the following command to find if the feature is already toggled on (replace PRINTERNAME with the name of your printer):

 rundll32 printui.dll,PrintUIEntry /Xg /n PRINTERNAME

If Direct Printing is not enabled, run the following command from the same elevated command prompt (replace PRINTERNAME with the name of your printer):

rundll32 printui.dll,PrintUIEntry /Xs /n PRINTERNAME attributes +direct

To print from 64-bit apps on 64-bit OS or using 32-bit apps on 32-bit OS, you have to download and install the Application Compatibility Toolkit to apply the PrinterIsolationAware fix to affected applications using the Compatibility Administrator tool.
